As announced by the Malaysian Government, Tourism Tax will be exempted for all arrivals from 1 July 2020 till 30 June 2021, while the exemption of Service Tax has been extended until 30 June 2021.

 

Following the implementation of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Terengganu by the Government of Malaysia, The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort will remain open with limited services and facilities as per the Standard Operating Procedures set forth by the Malaysian National Security Council.

In addition, we have implemented new cleanliness protocols and specific initiatives as part of our Clean & Safe Commitment to further enhance safety and minimize risk for our guests and associates. We seek your kind cooperation in practising social distancing and complying with our safety measures during your stay.

When you stay with us, we ensure that you have a luxurious escape with endless memories to take home. However, we understand how an unpleasant weather can disrupt a well-planned staycation. Hence, should it rain continuously for 6 hours between 7am to 7pm during your stay, we will extend to you a complimentary one-night extension stay when you book with us and select the ‘Fine Weather Guarantee’ inclusion at RM200 nett prior to checkout of your booking. You also have the option to exchange the complimentary one-night stay for an accommodation voucher valued at RM400 nett, to be redeemed at any Berjaya Hotels & Resorts in Malaysia.

Terms & conditions:
• Offer is valid for bookings until 28 February 2021 and stays from 1 November 2020 to 28 February 2021.
• Complimentary one-night extension stay at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort will be applied should it rain continuously for 6 hours between 7am to 7pm during your stay with a maximum of 1 night redemption per stay OR exchange it for an accommodation voucher valued at RM400 nett to be redeemed at any Berjaya Hotels & Resorts in Malaysia within 6 months from date of voucher issuance.
• Offer is non-refundable.
• Offer is not applicable for purchase after check-in.
• Extension of complimentary one-night stay will be at the sole discretion of the Resort. 
• There will not be any flight change fees for Berjaya Air. However, an additional fare difference top-up will be required by the guest, if any.
• Tourism Tax (TTx) is exempted from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021.
• Offer is not applicable for group bookings and/or use with other special offers/promotions.
• The Resort reserves the right to terminate or amend the offer without prior notice.
