Good news! As announced by the Malaysian Government, Tourism Tax will be exempted for all arrivals from 1st July 2020 till 30th June 2021, while the exemption of Service Tax has been extended until 30th June 2021.
 

Effective 1st July 2020, facilities such as swimming pool, gym, spa, restaurants and meeting facilities are available and operating in accordance to the health & safety guidelines set forth by the Malaysian National Security Council.
 

In addition, we have implemented new cleanliness protocols and specific initiatives as part of our Clean & Safe Commitment to further enhance safety and minimize risk for our guests and associates. BERJAYA HOTELS & RESORTS OFFER DAILY FLIGHT FROM SUBANG AIRPORT TO REDANG ISLAND DURING RECOVERY MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER

KUALA LUMPUR, 09 JUNE 2020 – In welcoming the announcement of the Recovery Movement Control Order (“RMCO”) by the Malaysian Government, where interstate travel being eased, Berjaya Hotels & Resorts’ (“BHR”) ATR 42-500 aircraft operated and managed by Berjaya Air, will now be available to fly directly from Subang Airport to Redang Airport on daily basis effective 10th June 2020, to enable the domestic travellers embarking on a much- awaited vacation to experience the clean fresh air, crystal-clear water and white powdery sand of The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort (“The Taaras”) at Redang Island. Guests may even have the opportunities to spot the resident turtle, Jojo, and swim with it when they go snorkelling or diving in the beautiful waters surrounding the resort.

 

During the RMCO, the direct flight will provide a hassle-free travelling experience by greatly reducing the travelling time to Redang Island from average 4 hours to approximately one- hour flight duration. Moreover, passengers will get to enjoy privileges include access and refreshment at Naza Sky Lounge located at level 1 of Subang Airport, personalized check-in, 15kg check-in luggage and 7kg hand luggage allowance per person, availability of excess luggage storage, express boarding and refreshment on board.
